However, they will only deal with unsecured debt, and the site pushes the debt management plan a bit more heavily than other competitors.

But having this mini-emergency fund before devoting extra to your debt is vital to breaking the debt cycle. If you don't have some savings, you might find yourself trapped in a cycle you can never escape.
